The rapture in the Old Testament

Many, many christians are not aware of the fact
that Jesus, at a certain moment (which only the
Father know the time of), will appear on the
clouds and snatch his bride into heaven before
a time of God´s final wrath will come to the earth.

At the same time as this rapture occur, the dead
in Christ will be resurrected and raptured as
well. And all in Christ - dead or alive at this his
coming - will momentarily receive glorified
bodies.

You can read on this mainly in the 1st and 2nd
book of Thessalonians, and in the 1st book of
Corinthians chapter 15.

But - it is a fact that this for some reason often
controversial truth is revealed even in the Old
Testament - in the following remarkable word:

Isaiah 26:19-21
"But your dead will live, Lord; their bodies
will rise - let those who dwell in the dust wake
up and shout for joy - your dew is like the dew
of the morning; the earth will give birth to
her dead.

Go, my people, enter your rooms and shut the
doors behind you; hide yourselves for a little
while until his wrath has passed by.

See, the Lord is coming out of his dwelling to
punish the people of the earth for their sins.
The earth will disclose the blood shed on it;
the earth will conseal its slain no longer."

Or, in the Swedish 1917 translation:

"Dina döda ska bli levande, mina dödas
kroppar ska uppstå. Vakna upp och jubla ni
som bor i stoftet, ty din dagg är ljusets dagg,
och jorden ska ge igen de avsomnade.

Kom mitt folk och gå in i dina kamrar, stäng
