So what is different with the New
Covenant?
You are a child, a son or a daughter,
you are not a servant. You are a son
just like Jesus did, you are above
those who are only servants.
The bible says that John the baptist
was the largest in the old covenant,
but the smallest in the Kingdom of
God is larger than him.
This does not talk of aggregated
wisdom, power, level of ministry, or
anointing. It talks about your stand
before God - you are his child, you
have his ring on your finger.
When Jesus died, the temple veil in
the temple in Jerusalem broke; from
top to bottom. The way into the
holy of holiest of God was now
opened. It was God who opened it.
That means it was not yet opened
for any of the fathers in the biblical
history. Rightious human blood
had to be shed for all sin, for God
to be able to take away the veil.
The bible said Jesus was the true
temple. It actually says "tabernacle"
(tent) in the original text; ie God
wanted to walk among men, visit
them, not the opposite..
The bible also states that every
man, just like Jesus, is such a tem-
ple, we are spirit, soul and body.
The order here is important;
as the spirit is the "inner room",
the soul the room outside it, and
the body is the temple structure
and the forecourt of the pagans.
so when you become a child of
God, God moves into your spirit,
"the holy of holiest" and the dry
cane starts to blossom.
This is what it is to be born again
and to be born of God. It can
happen when you accept the
blood of Jesus as your ransom,
then the veil can fall, and God can
find himself a throne in your heart,
a place where and from he can
reveal himself.
Your spirit was dead - in the sense
that you were not yet made
rightious to your nature and God
could not yet live there, he can-
not become one with people
who are sinners to their spiritual
nature.
So when you have received Jesus
you have got God´s nature in your
spirit. While your soul is still not
renewed and you may again and
again sin, just because you have
not renewed your thoughts and
feelings, the soulish area.
Romans 12:2 says we have to
start to let the Holy Spirit teach
us and renew us, so that the life
in our spirit can began to mani-
fest in our lives, that God can
look out of "the windows", for the
the pagans to see we are his
temples.. To reniew your mind
is like opening the window blinds.
This was very quick written down,
I felt from God I should share how
special the life is in the New
coventant in Christ, that we are a
new breed. Noone was born
again, or could become, before
Christ had died and resurrected.
Amen.
