Grace connection to the Law

The Gospel, the joyful message of Jesus Christ,
is God´s loving grace to every human being.

God´s grace is something rockfirm, it is not de-
pending on how God feels, or how we feel, at the
moment. It is a pure gift from God which we
recieve by faith. We cannot earn it.

The letter to Ephesians 2:8
"For it is by Grace you have been saved, trough
faith - and this is not from yourselves, it is the
gift of God."

If you have missed that The Gospel is founded
solidly on LAW (juridik) you have missed a lot
of the message. When you find out that it is about
law you will shout for joy.

Law is law. If you are in prison you are so due to
law, and if you are free you are due to law. It does
not change day to day, going up and down with
how you feel or think about ourself.

Just because God is LOVE and loves human
beings he could not "jump over" his rightious-
ness; just close his eyes for that we have commit-
ed sin and have fallen away from him.

For him to offer us his gift of grace, something
needed to take place first.

The book of Hebrews 9:22
"Indeed, under the law almost Everything is
purified with blood, and without the shedding
of blood there is no forgiveness of sins."

The bible talks a lot of blood, and why is it so?
According to the bible "life is in the blood". Sin
of man can only be dealt with by the shedding
of blood.

Either we die for our sin, or someone else dies in
our place. There is therefore a LAW drama behind
God´s plan of salvation for man.

The Bible calls God the (ultimate) JUDGE. The
bible calls Jesus our ADVOCATE and the devil
the PROSECUTOR of the brethren (Jesus´s).

The Prosecutor, the Devil, used God´s law, God´s
commandments, to day and night, year in and out,
prosecute every men and women before God, the
Judge. The devil knew that God is rightious and
that God can´t just neglect that man sinned.

God, the creator, loves man and wants to bring us
into his family again. He hates the devil, because the
devil was the one that wanted to take God´s place in
mans life; so he tempted Adam and Eve to take a
step to become disobedient to God.

But, the loving God, also the utimate Judge, had a
great salvation plan. At his perfect time he sent his
own Son to become a human being, "born by
woman".

Jesus´s Father was God himself; the bible says that
"Mary had not yet known a man", even so she was
found being with child.

The next truth based on Law is: Jesus lived the
whole life without commiting a single sin. "He was
obedient even unto death", says the bible. By that
he could die not for own sin but for others; and
offer them who come to him his rightiousness.

So, when Jesus died on the cross, he died for us.
God let Jesus take our place, to suffer all rightious
punishment for the sin of mankind.

On the third day it was by law possible for God to
raise Jesus from the dead; because Jesus was with-
out personal sin.

When we realize and accept that Jesus died in our
place, an amazing exchange takes place - based
on LAW; God gives us Jesus rightiousness, which
Jesus won through his lifewalk without sin.

We then give him our trash instead; our sin. In that
we give acceptance to what he did when he died
for our sin on the cross - when he was crucified as
a transgressor (överträdare) of law.

By this God´s plan, God being the ultimate Judge
and Law expert, he has declared that his rightious
nature is satisfied. At the same time he wins back
every human who decides to accept his work, and
wants to turn around and come back to him.

The devil knew Jesus was God´s Son, and actually
thought he won the ultimate victory when he had
Jesus crucified. But boy, how cheated he was.

After Jesus work on the cross, the devil cannot
use God´s commandments against those that have
accepted Jesus Christ as their savior. Jesus has be-
come our Advocate, a very good one as he already
died for every sin that the devil ever can accuse us
for!

The only weapon the devil can use against a be-
liever is to lie. And he does abundantly. He will
try to twist the truths in God´s word as much as
possible to have us anxious, to loose our faith.

The devil will try to use our feelings, so that we
"feel bad and unforgiven by God". But we then
must remember the truth - God´s grace is all based
on rockfirm law, all described in his word.

By holding on to God´s truth in the bible, feelings
will eventually become obedient servants to us
instead of them being in charge and let them bring
our mode and faith down.

When we say yes to what Jesus did for us on the
cross, nothing can hinder us; we become a child of
God, by the acceptance of Jesus as our Saviour.

Heaven will then be with us on earth, and our way
to heaven is secured, while we follow Jesus closely
through the rest of our life.

An important truth is that if God were to judge and
"take away evil from the earth" - like many asks; why
doesn´t he cope with evil - he would have to judge
man at the same time, as man is actually in alignment
with evil before he comes to accept God´s salvation
in Jesus Christ.

When God coped with evil - he did it on the cross.
We lay down our own selfish lives at the cross - and
follow Jesus in this world.
