In Israel the Supreme Court can decide by
themselves to freeze a nomination made
by the Knesset, for example a Secretary of
State.
Even more strange, the Supreme Court
nominates their own replacements in the
court.. The court is at risk of becoming
politically controlled.
This is where Benjamin Netanyahu has
brought forth a Judicial reform bill.
The "outrage" against this bill is not only
domestic; foreign powers who want to
steer Israels destiny & control the nation
are highly involved.
