The prophetic ministry is not just about predicting future

 

The prophetic ministry is not just
about predicting the future, though
that´s often, not always, a component
within a prophetic utterance.

Listen - the most important part in a
prophetic ministry is to, by the Spirit,
explain current events. I would say that
is mainly why God raises and sends
out prophetic ministries, at crossroads.

You may say; "God can use anyone to
prophesy". Yes he can, but why would
that be his ordinary way?

The´re guys that are somewhat good
at car mechanics.. there are also real,
paid, professionals.

And - when it comes to as serious
things as laying hands on an airplane,
at least I would expect a professional
checking the machine;

God uses them that are well-trained in
the prophetics to deliver the important
messages, and they`ll for sure be held
accountable.

Why is it important with the prophetic
ministry when it comes to interpret
the current time with certain events?

Well for some receivers the aim can
be to give them confirmation on what
they already discerned, and also with
some additional adjustment.

This can primarily be to have a leader-
ship in a church - or in a nation - to
align on a special situation on how to
act, also more in (important) details.

The word of the prophet is sent out
in delicate situations where things
can end up very wrong if human mind
& experience becomes main source
used for discernment.

In the Book of Acts we actually see
examples of how people with a
prophetic gift shares prophesy about
Pauls way forward,

but then the man (Agabus) standing
in the prophetic ministry comes to
other conclusions regarding on how
Paul ought to act.
